Desert Sparrow is Kylie Adams and David Carreno, respectively hailing from the Beaches of Sydney, Australia and Dana Point, CA. Blending their eclectic love for 60’s Rock n’ Roll, Folk, Spaghetti Westerns and Surf Rock, Desert Sparrow spin narratives out of the solitude, hardship and perseverance of the desert roads and coastlines of California. Since then, Desert Sparrow set their sights on LA, assembling a backing band and releasing a handful of singles including their latest “Better Be Home Soon” and a music video for “Karma” starring Rhys Darby (Our Flag Means Death, Flight of the Conchords). They’ve spent the past year stunning audiences at LA’s premiere venues and beyond with their powerful live performances featuring Adams’ commanding stage energy and effortless vocal prowess akin to Stevie Nicks and Florence Welch. The band plans to release new music and tour in 2023.
